Lisa Longobardi, M.A. CCC-SLP, completed her undergraduate work at Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in Communication Disorders. She then completed her graduate work at Our Lady of the Lake University with a M.A. in Communication Disorders.  She currently provides therapy in an elementary school to a variety of students who present speech, language, fluency and voice disorders. She also treats students with multiple disabilities. Lisa's current caseload consists of children who are 3 and 4 years of age as well as school age children in grades kindergarten through fifth. She also provides therapy to young children and supervision to speech assistants in the home health setting. Lisa most enjoys working with the pediatric population, specifically in the school setting. Working with children who have articulation errors as well as children with apraxia is one of her special interests.

She is also intrigued and finds much pleasure in working with children with autism who have social thinking and pragmatic deficits. Lisa has been trained in the Picture Exchange Communication System. She has also attended many conferences targeting a variety of areas including Autism, apraxia, articulation errors, and language development.  Lisa's first year of experience was with adults in rehabilitation and long-term care setting; she has worked with the pediatric population for the last twelve years. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys scrapbooking and having Bible studies with her friends.
